Just some random thoughts while writing up my chapter 2 from my dissertation

1) sometimes we tend to forget that time flies so fast, that we forget to appreciate or notice the small things that our children learn everyday. When we do notice it's like, eh, 'when did she learn that?', 'from where did she got that?'

2) I don't think I have enough time to do everything. exhaustion is catching up on me

School baru untuk fea?

My latest concern is about my daughter's education. she is now 2 and a half years old, goes to a day care centre which does not provide much input. So currently, I'm searching for a good kindergarten around Kelana Jaya. I want fea to learn something. I admit I don't have time teach her much but when I have the free time I will try to. I do feel guilty and I tried but i just don't feel it's enough.

Thinking of sending her to tadika Aladdin or tadika Salsabila. Both have agama classes but the difference is the owner of the place and the teachers they hire. One is non-muslim and the other is a muslim kindergarten. I don't want to be racist or anything it's just the concern of the kindergarten environment that's all. Also the akhlaq of the teacher's must be observed since fea will be sepending more than 30hours per week at the school. I don't want her to adapt any bad akhlaq and so on. Another concern is what they are feeding at the nursery. I know the non-muslim school will pay respect to the muslims but nonetheless I'm still "was-was" with the situation.

So anyway. Tomorrow I will go out and search a suitable school for fea. All the best to me~

I'm a mother now~
Didn't realize it until someone wished me Happy mother's day..

Buli jalan raya & award?~

Meh sini daku nak bercerita pasal buli jalan raya...

Sedangku drive ke tempat keje dengan hati girang gemilang melayan anak dalam car seat kat sebelah tibe2 plak ade mamat bawak kete toyota wish kat belakang honk dan pasang high beam.

Aku ape lagi..hangin dan dengan keras kepala refuse untuk ketepi sebab kurang hajar sedemikian rupe..aku bawak slow n steady..die nk wat ape kat belakang lantak die la.

Lagipon xde la aku bwk slow macam nenek tua ke ape..bawak 80..ok la kan since itu la speed limit kat jalan tue(baru kuar dari kerinchi link punye tol-jalan tue kan tinggi..klo silap corner mau jatuh dalam gaung mane ntah..lg pon aku gune smart tag so mmg akan termasuk kat lane laju dulu la kan baru pelahan2 nk kesot ke lane slow...ade 2 lane je pon)..ngokngek punye org.

Kesian kat anak aku kat sebelah tekejut dengan hon bunyi cam kentut tue..nasib die ok pagi tadi..xde la merengek ke ape. Baik jer duduk dalam car seat. Aku nak ketepi tak boleh sbb ade plak kete kancil so duduk je la lane tu(ala kejap jer pon sbb klo kedepan sikit dah ade 3 lane...xsabar punye org). klo die langgar die la byr..mengelabah sgt tue kenape..lepas die potong aku kat depan tue pon die kene block dengan 4 buah kete..ahaha..puas hati aku..

owh ha lupe...pagi ni fea ikut aku pegi keje then mak aku amek die kat tempat keje..mak mertua aku demam..kesian die..smlm pon adik ipar aku yang jage fea..esok tak tau la macam mane ni..

Anyway, aku nk cakap la sikit. Orang2 pakai kete besar ni tak payah la nk buli orang pakai kete kecik...respect la sikit..org lain pon ade equal rights jugak keatas jalan raya yang digunekan..

macam semalam, mentang2 la bwk kete honda tetibe jer nak hon suami aku sbb nk park kat tepi...bukannye org tak bagi signal...siolan punye org..xpasal..

Aku n hubby sejak ade anak ni mmg pemandu yang berkhemah abis la..ye la bile dah ade anak dok pikir jer anak..xnk la anything bad happen ke ape..

owh lagi satu aku tak puas ati dgn van vannete (camni ke eja..ntah laa) aku dah stereotype kan sume van jenis ni mmg kurang hajar punye org..bawak macam tooot tooott...amboih, macam awk sorg jer boleh gune jalan ni..aku pon byr cukai jalan tau

ahaha...xpasal emo plak..meh kite bertukar mood...

non-halal.
Si A: wah, tanak tukar keje ke?(muka terkejut)
Si B: (dalam hati... e'eh nape nk tukar keje pulak) hmm, tengah cari keje barulah sbb dok jauh.

2) Si C: Nak mengajar kat college T*** risau skit la sbb ramai bangsa asing. Tau la diorg ni
macam mane..heh
Si D: ha tue la...lagi2 bangsa C*** diorg ni dah la kedekut, macam2 hal la. Bangsa I**** pon
same..tah paper..tak betul
Si C: Tapi tak sume macam tue..ade je yang baik

ni susah sikit nak mengajar. Nakal. Paham2 je la kan. Lagi2 swasta ni.

Kenapa kite selalu labelkan bangsa ini itu dan bangsa itu ini. Tidak kah kita sedar bahawa semua insan di dunia ini datang dari Allah S.W.T. Semuanya sama tak kira bangsa. Nak kate C*** kedekut, corrupt, berkira la ape. Macam la bangsa M***** tue bagus sangat. Allah telah mencipta pelbagai kaum supaya kita berkenalan antara satu sama lain bukannya untuk kita cari keburukkan mereka.

Ye, aku mengaku bahawa dulu aku pernah tergolong dalam invidu yang mengata bangsa lain itu ini tetapi setelah bekerja di company yang aku seorang sahaja melayu dan yang lain semua cina telah mengajar aku supaya tidak lagi menjadi prejudis. Hendak tahu mengapa?

1) Pada mulanya saya telah di offer pekerjaan di satu kolej dimana 98% adalah bangsa melayu kemudian saya ditolak kerana saya disahkan mengandung. Bangsa sendiri sanggup mengetepikan saya disaat saya betul2 memerlukan kerja. Saya mengandung sahaja bukannya saya ade sakit kronik ke.

2) Setelah 3 bulan mengandung, saya dapat panggilan untuk temu duga. Saya beritahu awal2 bahawa saya mengandung kerana tidak mahu membuang masa mereka. Walaupun saya sudah nyatakan keadaan saya, company ini besungguh-sungguh hendak saya datang untuk temu duga. Akhirnya saya dapat juga kerja di company yang 100% cina kecuali saya. Tengok bertapa baik dan mulianya mereka kerana menerima saya. Tidak memandang rendah terhadap saya dan terima saya kerana saya kebolehan saya dan bukan kerana saya berbadan dua.

3) Sedang saya sarat lagi megandung saya dapat lagi satu panggilan untuk temu duga. Ini perbualan saya antara interviewer itu.

Saya: Saya mengandung 8 bulan dah ni, boleh ke?
Si minah: eh kenapa pula? datang je la
Saya: ye la separuh company tanak orang mengandung ni
Si Minah: Ala company lain tue mengada2 jer. Datang la, look forward seeing you.
Saya: owh terima kasih2..hehe

Ini juga merupakan company cina. Tengok sape yang prejudis dan kedekut sekarang ni.

4) Walaupun saya seorang sahaja melayu yang bekerja di syarikat ini, mereka tetap memberi layanan yang baik. Tidak ada prejudis. Kadang2 ada juga mereka ajak makan bersama di kedai mamak supaya saya tidak keseorangan. Mereka juga pernah cuba mencarikan seorang lagi pekerja melayu untuk teman saya. Tetapi dia tidak kerja lama kerana dapat tawaran untuk melanjutkan pelajaran.

Senang kate kita tidak boleh prejudis dan labelkan setiap orang itu hanya berdasarkan kaum sahaja. Get to know them as an individual then you'll know the real them rather than just judge them at first sight according to their race.

Tak perlu la nak bangga sangat dengan bangsa M*****. Setiap orang ada kelemahan masing2 yang tidak mengikut bangsa.

Fikirkan lah ye~

6 amalan harian seorang Muslimah~

Setiap hari Khamis dalam perjanan pulang ke rumah kami suamiku akan kongsi bersama ilmu yang telah beliau pelajari semasa mendengar tazkirah tengah hari di pejabatnya. Semalam adalah tentang enam perkara wanita perlu lakukan dari hadith yang di huraikan oleh Imam Al-Ghazali.

Pertama - Masuk sahaja waktu terus pergi menunaikan solat.
Kedua - baca Al-Quran setiap hari.
Ketiga - membaca satu hadith setiap hari kepada anaknya.
Keempat - mengamalkan membaca doa harian.
Kelima - hidup secara sederhana.
Keenam - memberi motivasi kepada suami, anak-anak dan juga orang disekeliling.

Saya akan sedaya upaya mempraktikkan dalam kehidupan seharian saya.

Off topik sket, setiap insan di dunia ini milik Allah S.W.T. Kita tidak ada hak mengaku bahawa suami atau isteri mahupun anak kita adalah milik kita. Sebagai isteri yang solehah kita tidak ada hak untuk menghalang suami dari menikahi wanita lain jika suami cukup syarat untuk menikahi perempuan itu. Ini adalah hak yang diberikan oleh Allah S.W.T kepada lelaki. Siapalah kita menidakkan hak itu. Anak juga bukan milik kita. Kita hanya diberi amanah dari Allah S.W.T untuk menjaga dan mendidik anak-anak dengan baik sahaja.

BPA-free bottles for babies..

Just something that i read from yesterdays the star paper..to all mother to be please be aware of this..i've bought MAMs bottles..hehe..which is BPA free..be wise when shopping for newborns as they are sensitive to a lot of things especially with today's environment..better be safe than sorry.. =)

Canada to ban baby bottles with chemical

TORONTO (AP): Canada has declared a chemical widely used in food packaging a toxic substance and will move to ban the sale in Canada of plastic baby bottles containing bisphenol A.

The toxic classification, issued in Saturday's Canada Gazette, makes Canada the first country to classify the chemical commonly used in the lining of food cans, eyeglass lenses and hundreds of household items, as risky.

The federal ministries of Health and the Environment said Saturday that bisphenol A may be entering the environment in a quantity or under conditions that may pose a danger to Canadians.

Health Minister Tony Clement said a report on bisphenol A has found the chemical endangers people, particularly newborns and infants, citing concerns that the chemical in polycarbonate products and epoxy linings can migrate into food and beverages.

Newborns and infants are particularly vulnerable because of their frequent use of baby bottles that often contain the chemical, which is used to harden plastic and make it shatterproof.

The health and environment departments said Saturday that the government plans to restrict the importation, sale and advertising of bottles made with bisphenol A, known as BPA.

"Many Canadians ... have expressed their concern to me about the risks of bisphenol A in baby bottles,'' said Canada's Environment Minister John Baird in a statement. "Today's confirmation of our ban on BPA in baby bottles proves that our government did the right thing in taking action to protect the health and environment for all Canadians.''

The government is also proposing "to allow the lowest amount of BPA as reasonably achievable in infant formula cans'' and all foods in general. Its risk management plan said it would aim for "stringent'' targets for infant formula cans.

The biggest concern with this widely used chemical, traces of which can be found in more than 90 percent of Americans, has been over BPA's possible effects on reproductive development and hormone-related problems. It has also been linked to cancer in animals.

However, the chemical industry maintains that polycarbonate bottles contain little BPA and leach traces considered too low to harm humans.

"Consumer products made from polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resins, including products for infants and children, are accepted as safe for use by regulatory agencies around the world,'' Steven G. Hentges, the executive director, Polycarbonate/BPA Global Group of the American Chemistry Council, said Saturday in a statement commenting on Canada's decision.

The scientific debate over BPA could drag on for years. The European Union and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration say the chemical is safe. But the FDA is awaiting word from a scientific panel expected to deliver an independent risk assessment later this month.

Several U.S. states are considering restricting BPA use, some manufacturers have begun promoting BPA-free baby bottles, and some stores are phasing out baby products containing the chemical.

Wal-Mart Canada and other major retailers in Canada in recent months have begun removing BPA-based food-related products such as baby bottles and sipping cups from store shelves.

So to all momies out there..beli la bottle yang BPA-free ye..list of bottles that i know BPA free adalah MAM, pigeon glass bottles and nuby..Avent bkn BPA free tau..so be careful..
Sebenarnya, jika beli bottle yang jenama or dari plastic biasa pun tidak mengapa tetapi kena tukar dengan kerap dan kalau ada nampak scratch pada botol tu cepat2 la tukar sebab dari situ la bahan kimia yang tidak elok leak dalam susu anak...
Anyways, search la lagi ye pasal bottle yang BPA free ni..bukannye ape we just want the safest things for our children that's all..

~update on mandi wiladah~

Just like to share with everyone what my friend commented on my past post..please2 take this seriously. Thank you soo much to Dur for the info.

Memang betul kenyataan tentang 'Mandi Wiladah' itu..... kami telah bertanyakan hal ini kepada ustazah kita orang last month. MasyaALLAH , betapalah jahilnya kita ini.... tapi according to Uztazah ini , kita
memang kena niat dlm hati mandi wajib itu adalah Mandi Wiladah dan tidak boleh kira overall saja.
Sapa-sapa yg lepas bersalin dan belum lagi mengangkat Mandi Wiladah ini maka segala solat & puasanya selama ini tidak akan diterima oleh ALLAH…Nahuzubillah'minzaliq…Wallahua'lam

Oleh itu kita kenalah meminta ampun dari ALLAH S.W.T kerana tidak mengetahui akan perkara ini , kerana sesungguhnya ALLAH Maha Pengampun Lagi Maha Mengetahui. Utk pengetahuan semua, perkara ini telah diajukan oleh saudari kita Ernie Shamsudin semasa sessi mengaji Quran tempoh hari dan disaksikan oleh saya & juga Anisah Ghazi....

Wajib atas kita untuk memberitahu saudara-saudari kita yg langsung tidak tahu akan hal ini.....

Perkara penting yang most women ignored...to tell you the truth..I've talked to several ladies...and kebanyakkannya semua tak tahu yang there exists mandi after bersalin nie...bukan mandi after darah nifas kering tapi mandi after bersalin..a separate hadas besar...reason being sekiranya ajal menjemput sebelum darah nifas kita kering, kita sudah berada di dalam keadaan bersuci...

Sewaktu dalam sembang-sembang kecil saya merasa agak terperanjat apabila ada diantara ibu-ibu yang mengatakan mereka tak tahu yang mereka wajib mandi hadas selepas melahirkan anak. Ini kerana ada yang confuse, mereka ingat mandi hadas hanya selepas darah nifas habis. Para bapa langsung la sebab mereka kata, bukan mereka yang beranak... MasyaAllah. Kan ke tugas suami tu membimbing isteri..ini perkara Feqah yang wajib diketahui oleh semua orang.

Ada lagi yang kata sebab masa berpantang tak boleh basah rambut, takut masuk angin.

Saya terfikir balik, selama ini saya take for granted dan assume semua orang tahu. kadang-kadang timbul rasa bersalah kerana tidak ambil inisiatif untuk mengingatkan para bapa/ bakal bapa dan para ibu/bakal ibu. Jadi di sini saya nak ambil kesempatan supaya kita ingat mengingati dan kebetulan ramai juga para netters yang sedang menanti kelahiran cahaya mata.

Perkara Wajib mandi hadas besar;

Bagi lelaki 2 perkara:
1. keluar air mani
2. berjimak, waimah berjimak kerana berzina pun kena juga mandi. Tak keluar mani pun kena mandi juga.
Bagi perempuan:

1, Haid
2. Wiladah (melahirkan anak)
3. Nifas
4. Berjimak, waimah berjimak kerana berzina pun kena juga mandi.

Rasanya setakat mandi selepas haid dan berjimak tu semua orang tahu. Yang selalu wanita confuse (apatah lagi lelaki) ialah berkaitan dengan kelahiran. Selepas melahirkan anak setiap wanita ISLAM kena mandi:

1. Mandi hadas kerana melahirkan (WILADAH. Yakni, sebaik sahaja kepala bayi keluar.
2. Mandi hadas habis nifas (darah yang keluar selepas bersalin) maka diwajibkan mandi hadas.

menurut ustazah, niat mandi boleh pakai satu sahaja, tak perlu spesifik. Cuma niatkan:

'Sahaja aku mandi hadas besar ke atas tubuhku yang diwajibkan ke atas ku kerana Allah Taala'.
Tula saya teringat orang tua-tua kita tak kasi org dalam pantang tu mandi basahkan kepala, takut masuk anginla, sejukla... saya terfikir balik, takkan suruhan agama sanggup diketepikan semata-mata nak jaga pantang. Lagipun mandi wajib selepas melahirkan tu SEKALI je setiap kelhairan..katalah anda seorang yang betul-betul kuat berpantang.. dalam masa 40/60 hari tu, cuma sekali je mandi basah rambut, bukan tiap-tiap hari Mandilah dengan air panas... kita tak suruh mandi dng air sejuk.. cuma pastikan air tu tak jadi air musta'mal. Itu sahaja.

Jadi, bakal ibu dan bakal bapa, harap tak ambil remeh perkara ini. Yang lelaki tu ingatkanlah isteri-isteri anda dan adik-adik pompuan. dan yang pompuan tu ingatkanlah diri anda dan sedara-sedara pompuan yang lain..InsyaAllah
